Presentation Report

Last week on Tuesday April 19, Hassan Jassim and Hassan Abdulla gave a presentation about expats. They started off by saying the main points that they would focus on.
Their presentation was really interesting. Hassan Jassim started listing the reasons of migration and its negative points, which gave us some idea about migration and how bad it could be, like the increase of crimes. He was giving a lot of eye contact which made the audience pay more attention to the presentation.
Afterwards Hassan Abdulla started talking about the positive side of migration and how it will benefit one’s country, if a certain profession isn’t that popular amongst the nationals but is needed later on being filled by an immigrant instead.  He as well listed some solutions in order to reduce the amount of needed immigrant which in return can make one’s country much more independent; one of the solutions was to train nationals for specific fields.
Later on that allowed us to ask questions which resulted in a debate between the teacher and both of the Hassans about immigration. I as well asked a question to Hassan Jassim and got an answer that wasn’t that clear.
Overall their presentation was good and had a lot of energy in it, making a lot of the audience ask questions about the presentation.
